When the first Hmong immigrants settled in the Twin Cities area just over 40 years ago, they did not have the ingredients needed to cook familiar foods, but they found ways use what was available locally to create new dishes reminiscent of their homeland.
Friday night I'll be a guest cook at Cook St. Paul (1124 Payne Ave). Eddie Wu (Owner/Chef of Cook St. Paul) will be having his Korean Night Menu and I'll be making the special for that evening. We will be open form 5pm-9pm.
After our first LOCO DUUK event at Cook St. Paul we're taking our pop-up to South Minneapolis. We will be set up in Gigi's Cafe (822 W 36th). All the pop-ups will be returning, Lola Rosa, Cook St Paul, Dumpling, and Union Kitchen.
