Join us February 4th at Cook St. Paul to celebrate the one year anniversary of Union Kitchen's first pop-up. The event will continue the organization's mission of sharing Hmong culture and history through food. When the first Hmong immigrants settled in the Twin Cities area just over 40 years ago, they did not have the ingredients needed to cook familiar foods, but they found ways use what was available locally to create new dishes reminiscent of their homeland. In fitting with this history, the Union Kitchen team has spent the past few months perfecting the evening's new entrées, which utelize products and produce from the Midwest as a canvas to paint the vibrant flavors of the Hmong kitchen. We welcome you to come experience Hmong culture through food, connect with others and celebrate a year of success for Union Kitchen.
