Pop Up @ The Bird w/ Kim Ly Curry

This will be our 5th and final pop up at The Bird this summer. They have graciously allowed us to take over their spot on Friday evenings from 5pm-9pm. Come join us on August 4th and check out our new summer menu that has been sculpted out from produce and products from local purveyors! 

Since this is the last pop-up for the summer (don't worry we'll keep more pop ups coming) we decided to make it special for everyone. We've collaborated with Kim Ly Curry (Instagram: @kimlycurry) who an incredible social influencer in the Twin Cities area. But she's more an just an Instagram Star she knows her food. This menu is reflective of her story as a Vietnamese American and her love for food here in the TC area. 

The Bird is a beautiful space on Loring park in Minneapolis that has a wood fire grill and the coolest alley in town. Craft cocktails, wine, and 14 local beers, St.Paul Switchel and Dean's Kombucha on tap!

Pop Up @ The Bird w/ Ger Yang

For this pop-up we're teaming up with the talented Ger Yang (Sous Chef from Zen Box) to bring you a menu that represents his story. Originally from La Crosse (WI), Ger started as sushi chef in Eau Claire, WI then eventually settling in MPLS working at Zen Box with the talented John Ng. He eventually took a little time off to travel through SE Asia and came back with a new passion for the kitchen. Ger's culinary ethos alines so well with Union Kitchen and that is why we're so excited to have him collaborating with us.
